Weapons
Weapons for use to defense or to murder other players.
Players are able to purchase melee weapons from melee weapon ammu-nation businesses. Firearms have become much harder to find, and must be crafted from both legal and illegal methods. Weapons may also be purchased from other players in player-to-player trade.
The ways to obtain weapons are outlined in this section, and all the different weapons and damage values are also outlined here.
Final City: Online uses the weapon-config system to get a more accurate hit registration in combat. This means that all shots on a players screen will register if they landed it in a valid way on their own screen. This has both upsides and downsides, but generally the upsides heavily outweigh the downsides, and the system helps for an overall smoother experience.
The weapon system has undergone massive changes since the last iteration of Final City, so please read through the section thoroughly to get a full understanding of the new systems.

Firearm Legality
Depending on the method of obtaining the weapon, it may be a legal weapon or an illegal weapon. Each weapon is assigned a serial number, and authorities are able to find players with illegal firearms and mark their weapon as illegal. Brandishing an illegal weapon will instantly get a player suspected, and may not be used by authorities.
Firearm Rarity and Tiers
Firearms can be crafted using a combination of materials. The higher tier materials you use, the higher tier the weapon is crafted, and the higher stats the weapon will be crafted with.
Melee weapons
Melee weapons can be used in close-quarters combat to inflict damage to enemies.
